Work & Play

Currently i'm working in the family business. Which has it's challenges but most of the time I love it. I have the benefit of being close with my parents and being involved in a great cause. It is an non-profit aviation museum in Southern California.
My grandfather gave me the aviation bug during high school, then after talking to a WASP-Vi Cowden I was hooked and I soon started taking flight lessons. I now have my private pilots license and get to see the world from a different view! I don't get up there as much as I'd like, but for now it's just recreational.

This is my best friend, Christine and I flying, one of the few who isn't "scared of small planes" lol. It's a blast! Scared? Ok, maybe I was a little nervous on my first flight too. Luckily for me my husband and my best friend are completely comfortable flying.

One of the best parts about working at the museum is being surrounded by people who share a passion for aviation. I've heard stories from WWII vets, met a few Tuskegee airmen, and even been up in a B-17 Flying Fortress, C-40 Lockheed, and maybe soon a UC-43 Staggerwing.

This is my hometown at night. Beautiful.
